Homework: 9.29.09 MS 2 LA/Lit, German 1, 2, MS 1 History

MS 2 LA/Lit: Complete the Review exercises for Lessons 1 & 2 of Latin Roots Vocab.
Read Chapter 1 of Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde

German 1: Please Review greetings, words from Chaper 1 packet (including articles), and the was ist das we reviewed today.

German 2: Thank you all for a great picnic today! Thanks to all parents for your contributions! No Homework

MS 1 History: Please read page 49-54 in your World History books and answer the review questions and the "think about" question.

About me

I was born in Lich, Germany and spent my grammar and middle school years in German schools. My family returned to California in time for me to attend Arcadia High School, where I participated in many activities including German club and show choirs. After four years at the University of California, Riverside, I married my husband (of 14 years now) and worked with youth before returning to school for my teaching credential. After teaching three years in California public schools, I worked part-time as an education specialist for homeschooling families through a charter school. I was happy to settle in Castle Rock in 2006 with my husband and three children, 9, 6 and 4 years old. This is my fourth year teaching at Woodlands, and I love teaching here!!
