Inventor/Reformer Biography
You will write a biography of one of the people off of the list that follows this instruction sheet. People will be assigned on a first come basis. Your biography needs to include the following:
1. A 3-5 page typed, double spaced 12-pt. Times New Roman or Arial font research report on your person, which includes information from at least three reliable sources, which are listed in a separate bibliography at the end of the paper. (125 pts),
2. A picture of the inventor/reformer and his invention/accomplishment- these can be printed off the internet, photocopied from a book, or drawn if no picture is available (based on reliable information) (15 pts.)
3. A short summary, like a memorial, of the person’s greatest accomplishments and highlights of their life. (15 pts)
4. Your three items are to be tastefully arranged on a poster board, so that the paper,
picture, and contributions can be easily read and displayed. (45 pts).
You will be graded on the quality of your writing, extent of your research, completeness of information and neatness. This project is due Wednesday, December 16th. If you are delayed in turning in your project, you will lose 15 points for each day late.
