MS 1: Test on Friday! Please review the following:
Definitions/concepts: fertile crescent, civilization, primary and secondary sources, code of Hammurabi, cuneiform, ziggurats, mummification, pyramids, hieroglyphics, polytheism, monotheism, judaism, Old Testament, prophet, messiah, city-states, irrigation, trade, colonies, oligarchy, democracy, delian league, persian wars
Review the following civilizations: Mesopotamians (most importantly: Sumerians &Babylonians) Hebrews, Egyptians, Spartans and Athenians--think of the activities we did that went along with some of these civilizations!
Review the following people: Hammurabi, King Nebuchadnezzar II, Ramses II, Akhenaton and Nerfertiti, Tutankhamen, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Pericles
Don't forget to work on your civilization projects as well!!
MS 3: Please work on your research papers! Let me know if you need me to review (on the blog) the requirements we went over on Monday.
